John Warren, founder of Future Focus, started financial planning in 1983. His knowledge and passion to serve his clients and community was passed down to his daughter, Pauline. With three generations and over 45 years of experience, Future Focus and its team offer a welcoming break from main stream financial solutions.

PAULINE TERRY CFP - Financial Advisor

I started my career as a financial planner in 1992, following in my Dad's footsteps. Before I was a financial planner I was a youth counselor, which has given me many skills to help listen and find the right financial path for my clients.

I love listening to people's stories and have thoroughly enjoyed creating their financial future with them. When I am not working I love spending time with my husband, Troy, and my three kids; Sam, Colton and Denver. I enjoy following them in the sports they do or playing our family sport, team penning on our horses. The other activity we love as a family is going to our cabin in Montana where we ski, play games and reconnect as a family.

I also enjoy volunteering my time and money to make charitable organizations better. I believe living in Canada has given me and my family an advantage over many other places in the world and therefore believe it is important to give back with time and money.


Head Administrator

I joined Future Focus in September of 2009 when I moved back to my hometown of Barnwell. I am the first person most clients meet when they come into the office or the first person clients speak to when they call in. I handle every aspect of the business from booking appointments, processing the buys and making sure everything runs smoothly in the office. I am a licensed assistant to Pauline and am very happy to help you with whatever you need.​

I was a client of Pauline's since 1993 and then joined her team as her administrative assistant in 2008. I have seen a lot of changes over the years with Future Focus Financial Planners and am very proud of not only be an employee but  a client as well. The different roles that I have had since I started has allowed me to experience all aspects of the business and industry.


Administrative Assistant

I joined the Future Focus team in November of 2016. I was involved in the financial planning business before joining Future Focus in an administrative role. I am excited to learn all aspects of the business and help our clients find financial success.

I grew up on a ranch outside the small town of Cowley, Alberta. Both of my parents still run that ranch to date. When I am not in Taber or Lethbridge you will find me lending a hand on the ranch.

When I'm not in the office I can either be found coaching basketball or watching the various sports my children play. Between my husband, Chad, and I, we have six children who keep us very busy with their many activities.

Recently I have chosen to reduce my hours to three days a week so I can spend more time with my 3 grandchildren who are my pride and joy. The unfortunate part is that they live in Calgary, so my husband and best supporter of 40 years drives the highway often to spend time with our 2 children and grandchildren.


I joined the team in 2010. Denver and I started out filing and doing odd jobs around the office. We have expanded our roles as we have gotten older and have learned alot about financial planning and how to run a business. I am super organized and this helps me in school and work.

When I am not at the office I am a fulltime student and love sports. I am an avid basketball player and spend as much time as I can playing the sport that I love, hanging out with my friends, and playing the piano. I am an avid reader and read up to 5 books at a time.
